With over 10 years of experience in the modelling/pageant
industry and numerous titles behind her name. Tumelo Matela
is a seasoned professional model and beauty queen, she holds a
degree in Bcom Communication at the University of Pretoria.

Tumelo is a BIC Soleil Brand Ambassador, full time Account
Manger at Idea Engineers, part-time model, content creator
and MC. She is also one of the national coordinators for Miss
Teenager South Africa.
She has over 5 years experience in Social Media Marketing,
having worked as a copywriter, social media manager and
account manager.

HOPE MALATSI

Hope is an ambitious, influential, self-confident and goal orientated digital marketing specialist with over 3 years’ experience in digital marketing. She holds a Digital Marketing Diploma from Shaw Academy, a global institution based in Dublin UK.
Her experience consists of digital marketing and advertising for
businesses and brands using various digital mediums such as Wi-Fi hotspot adverts, Social media marketing and Web Marketing.
Over the years, she has gained an understanding of different marketing channels and tactics. She knows just how to apply these skills and create a digital marketing strategy based on the needs of a business,
brand or individual.
Hope has recently been appointed by East Wave Radio 92.2FM as the Communications Officer where she manages all social media platforms, web marketing and other communications related work.

Reabetswe Twala

Reabetswe Twala, is a 28 years old Digital and Brand strategist from Johannesburg passionate about people an storytelling, with 6 years’ experience in the advertising industry. She graduated with her honours in Brand Management and currently works at Flume Agency.
Reabetswe has worked on FMCG to luxury brands, focusing heavily on influencer marketing and social media strategy. She is mastering the craft of designing thinking and critical analysis in everything she does.

Nobantu Modise

Nobantu Modise is a multi-talented and astute communications specialist who is passionate about sustainability, loves diversity and lives to spread the love for Africa and people of African descent. Modise​ serves as Founder & Editor in Chief of Afrophilia Magazine, and is the architect of the boutique digital agency, Afrophilia Communications. Both of which are designed to​ introduce African brands, experiences and people to the world.​

In her voluntary capacity, Nobantu serves as Director of Communications for Wikimedia South Africa Chapter and feels very strongly about increasing access to free knowledge and tools to underserved communities.

For Modise, leaving a better world for the next generation should be a given. As should ensuring that all our efforts as human beings add value to humanity and our planet, as much as they do to our profits.

Neo koaho , is a 26 years old Journalism graduate & a media graduate from Diepkloof zone 4 Soweto . I love being around people and learn how they conduct themselves and be able to adapt to different moods as I am a person who likes telling stories and that why am on radio as I love telling stories. I am a content producer at Voice of wits (Vow Fm) and I am also part of the music team. I am a foody and a sport fanatic and I also love going out.

Macenje "Che Che" Mazoka

Ms. Macenje “Che Che” Mazoka has over 30 years of experience in media both in front of and behind the camera and in the areas of management and strategic planning.  Mazoka has a B.A. degree in Broadcast Journalism from Howard University in Washington DC, a Masters in Media Management from The New School University in New York City and an Executive Management Development Programme Certificate from the University of Stellenbosch Business School.   

Mazoka currently heads up regional communications and stakeholder relations at the South African Broadcasting Corporation.  During her tenure at the SABC she has managed divisions that focus on revenue generation for educational content across all platforms in all Languages and more recently communications and stakeholder relations for the national public broadcaster.  She served as General Manager of SABC’s Business Development from 2010-2012 overseeing the commercial exploitation of SABC’s content, domestically and globally.  In addition to having a strong business acumen, Ms. Mazoka has extensive experience in the area of policy development and strategic partnerships.

Ms Mazoka started her media career in the USA where she worked at the Public Broadcasting Service for 15 years.  Mazoka has served on numerous industry bodies to share, shape and keep abreast of industry trends and advise on policy enhancement.  Her current affiliations include serving on the South African Audio Visual Forum (SAAVF), the African Tourism Board (ATB) and the Department of Trade and Industries Film and Television’s (Funding) Adjudication Committee to name a few.  Ms. Mazoka also served as a lecturer from 1998-2007 teaching graduate courses in Media Literacy and Media Ethics.
